Activating CleanBrowsing on your iPad

Activating CleanBrowsing on your iPad is pretty simple. Just follow these steps and in less than 5 minutes you will have a kid-safe iPad for your kids and family to enjoy

Tech talk: CleanBrowsing is a DNS-based filter that prevents adult content from being loaded. It doesn't require any software installation and can be easily enabled anywhere by switching your DNS servers to the ones we provide. We also offer Apps for the major devices in order to simplify your life.

Free and Paid Filters

Step 1: Install the CleanBrowsing.org App

Apple doesn't have a very simple way to change the DNS servers on the iPad (or iPhone). That's why we recommend our free App to simplify your life.

Go to the App Store and search for CleanBrowsing and install it. You can also find it in here.

Step 2: Choose the Filter

We support our 3 free filters and the paid filters on our App. Choose the one you wish you to use and click on Connect. If you have one of our paid plans, go to your dashboard and get the iOS code to activate it.

Step 3: CleanBrowsing is Active!

After you clicked on connect, it may ask you to allow a new VPN, which we use to redirect your DNS requests to CleanBrowsing. Please click to allow and you are all set. CleanBrowsing is now active and your iPad is protected.
